Late addition Kevin Dia is playing like a man on a mission. After a year off from college basketball, he doesn’t seem to be missing a step. In fact, he looks better than he did in his rookie season with the King’s University College Eagles. Dia needed to shoot the ball well from downtown in order to hold off the feisty Bonesaw squad whose record is not indicative of the fits they create for opponents. After being down 42-24 at the half, Bonsaw was able to mount a more complete half to outscore the Eger Beavers 36-29 in the second. Though they were able to mount some momentum heading into the playoffs, it wasn’t enough to garnish a victory for the upbeat bunch as they fell 71-60. Dia finished the game with 23 points on 5 for 7 from beyond the arc while team mate Jesse Denscombe added 17 points and 11 rebounds.
