CARL Rules
* CARL Rule Book.
PVAHA has offered to help us set up a “rule” book (more of a guide). Talk has also circulated of the intentions of the CBHL to possible take over the running of CARL.
It was determined that a rigid rule book wasn’t necessary, and that a list of CARL guidelines would be more appropriate.
Guidelines discussed:
1. Age groups will follow USA Hockey groupings
2. Games are to be confirmed by schedulers only no later than the Tuesday before the game slot. Referree cancellations need 48 hours notice or fees are still owed.
3. No travel rostered players are to be rostered on rec teams simultaneously In the same season.
4. CARL season is to contain 12 league games within your own division. Balance of games needed to fill your schedule will be with other clubs of your choice for non league games.
5. Possibility of dividing up into more than 2 divisions.
6. Club schedulers to be named by May 1 for the following season.
7. All clubs are expected to have their coaches USA Hockey certified.
8. Rec team USA Hockey stamped rosters are to be finalized and mailed or emailed to CARL by 1/31. No changes in rosters will be accepted after 1/31. We have chose this date due to the fact that Frederick re-drafts their in house teams the first week of January.
