Little League Softball Day at Hofstra University

Carlstadt's very own Girl's Softball Team QuickChek recently attended Little League Softball day at Hofstra University located in Hempstead, New York. 
The atmosphere was absolutely electric at Bill Edwards Stadium with nearly the entire grand stands filled with Little League Softball players of all ages. 
Our girls were a huge part of that outstanding atmosphere cheering on the Hofstra Pride. 
During the game, the girls from Carlstadt got to see some incredible teamwork and outstanding plays from the Hofstra team.  The girls even grabbed some cool Hofstra swag and some of them also caught a few Hofstra t-shirts thrown into the stands by the players.  At the bottom of the 5th inning, there was a raffle open to all in attendance that night which was won by our very own Amanda #24!!

After the game ended, our girls were given the opportunity to meet the Hofstra team to ask questions of their new favorite players and get autographs.   The Hofstra team was great!  All of the college players engaged our girls asking them what positions they played and other softball related questions.  It was truly a great opportunity for our girls and many of them seized the opportunity to get the entire Hofstra team's autographs on shirts, balls, gloves and posters.  Some of the girls even had their new favorite players autograph their arms!!!!

 The fun did not end at Bill Edwards Stadium!!  On the bus ride home, the girls from Carlstadt were so hyped up from the evening's festivities with the Hofstra Pride Softball Team that they danced (in their seats of course) and sang all the way back to Carlstadt!!! 

It truly was an AWESOME event!!!!
