1. Season length will increase from 21 to 24 games. Each team will play every other team 3 times.

2. Players need to "play" 8 games (1/3 of the regular season) to be eligible for playoffs. "Playing" means actually playing in the game either in the field or for an at-bat, or being present in the dugout for 3 innings.

3. There will be no courtesy or speed-up runners of any kind. There is a no re-entry rule on offense. 

4. Playoff format consists of a play-in game between the 8th and 9th seeds. The remaining 8 teams will then play a tournament with re-seeding after each round. Quarterfinals is best 2 of 3. Semi-finals and Finals is best 3 of 5.

5. Players need 50 plate appearances to qualify for the batting title.
