2015 Spring Hockey League 
March 2 – March 29, 2015

 Chazy Youth Hockey will be sponsoring a Spring Hockey League from March 2 to March 29, 2015. Any player with a birth year between 1995 & 2009 is welcome to play. The goal of the league is to bring together hockey players, both boys & girls, from throughout the region to enjoy the game of hockey and promote team play.

Teams will play between 8-10 games between March 2 & 29, 2015. Draft schedule can be found online. Games with be runtime for about an hour, small teams of 12 or less, penalty shots for minor penalties, non checking for all levels and all levels mixed gender.  All players, except cross ice mites, will go on ice for a practice skate to allow coaches time to pick the teams evenly. 

If you carry a stopwatch to time shifts or maintain a stat book this league isn’t for you J
Teams will be chosen by the coaches and divided evenly based on age & ability.
All mites will play cross ice
Team selection for Squirt & Peewee will be March 2^rd  All players will skate
Team selection for Bantam & Midget will be March 3^th All players will skate

Registration is on a first come, first serve basis.

Based on birth year, divisions will be:
Second year players have the option of playing up to the next level.
Most players prefer to move up but it is not required, it is an individual choice

Mite (2009- 2006), Squirt (2006, 2005, 2004), Pee Wee (2004, 2003, 2002) Bantam (2002, 2001, 2000) & Midget/Girls 19U (2000, 1999, 1998, 1997, 1996, 1995)

You can play up, but not down. This is a USA Hockey Rule.

There will be a maximum of 12 players per team

Please indicate the desired level of play on the signup form.

All divisions will be mixed gender and will be non-checking.

Teams will play a total of 10-12 games over the 5 week period.

All players must be registered with USA Hockey, please advise us if your child is not currently registered through another organization.

All games will be played at Scotts’ Memorial Rink in Chazy.

You cannot play on more than 1 team or level UNLESS you register and pay for 2 teams or levels, but you are welcome to do so.

Teams will have a minimum of 8-10 games, USA Hockey officials for Squirt to Midget, mites will be cross-ice, & jerseys will be provided

League fee will be $75 for all levels

Fee is due with registration.

Games will be played mostly in the evening between March 4 & March 29.

No games will be played the weekend days of March 13,14,15,20,21,22
