Basic Information about T-Ball
T-Ball is for children with birthdays between 5-1-2002 and 4-30-2004.
The registration fee is $25 and the fee should be paid at the time of registration.
T-ball is played with a low impact ball and not a hardball. The league provides bats, balls, and uniforms. A player need only provide a glove (special shoes/rubber spikes are not necessary/ a regular pair of gym shoes is just fine).
Anticipate a 10 game season - the Season will start in late April/early May and conclude by the end of June. Games will be played on Saturday's and occassionally during the week (weekday games could occur on any day of the week). Games will be played in fields located in College Hill, North College Hill, Finneytown and Greenhills.
In terms of a time commitment, the norm would be one game and one practice per week. In some weeks their could be an additional game on a weekday night (please keep in mind that in January we have not completed schedules, formed teams etc.).
If you are new to this, please remember T-Ball is all about fun. Everyone will have a good time - parents, coaches and players. If your child is elgible to play (again any child with a birthdate between 5/1/2002 and 4/30/2004 is elgible to play).
All you need to do is complete and submit a registration form. The registration fee is $25 and payment is expected at the time of registration. See the web page for our special program with College Hill Soccer - allows a T-Ball aged youngster to play both sports for just one fee.
If your child is too young for T-Ball, we suggest you contact the local YMCA - they sometimes have leagues for younger players.
If your child is older, please visit our baseball website for more information (www.leaguelineup.com/collegehillbaseball).
Remember you can download the registration form from this site. Just go to the handout section (left side of your screen). You will need an adobe acrobat reader to download the form and just be patient in downloading if you are using dial-up access.
If you want your child to play with a neighbor, friend or with a particular coach, just indicate this on the form. We will try (and in most cases at this age level we can) to honor your request.
You can get more information form our Baseball Hotline (929-2255 [BALL}). The T-Ball information is at the end of the recording. Or send us an email at: baseball.collegehill@yahoo.com
Please remember the key to this is completion of a Registration Form. If you can not download a form, then you can pick one up at Bill O'Brien's house - 1446 Thomwood Drive, Cincinnati, Ohio 45224 (in College Hill).
