Now Registering for Group Ice Skating Lessons
Welcome to Clary Anderson Arena; a facility of the Township of Montclair managed by United Skates of America. Our group lesson program follows the United States Figure Skating (USFS). Skate with U.S. Guidelines. Ice Skating is great fun for everyone and it is never too late to learn. So lace up your skates and Come skate with U.S.
Class Format:
All lesson students are allowed on the ice at the beginning of the lesson period to begin their class or practice session. All classes will meet once a week for 6 weeks and will include a 30 minute lesson and a 30-minute practice in the designated practice area. Practice time will either be before of after the lesson depending on the time slot chosen. Children should be dressed and ready 10 minutes before the scheduled start time of the class. It is sometimes necessary to repeat a level in order to master all of the skills required to advance to the next. Taking two classes per week can help advance a skater to our other United Skates programs more quickly.
Lesson Cost (6 Week Session)
1 Class per week $115.00 per person
1 Class of Mommy or Daddy & Me per week $195
2 Classes per week $195 per person
Family Discount:(2 members of the same immediate family)
1 Class per week $195 per 2 family members...additional Family Members $90 per person

Class Age description:
Adult Basic Skills: Ages 13 and Up
Learn to Hockey Skate: Ages 4 and up(skills required)
Basic Skills : Ages 6-12
Snow Plow Sam : Ages 4-6
Mommy or Daddy & Me: child 4-5 yrs with parent in class together
