Playoffs, HITMEN go down with a fight! (2007)
HITMEN Go down with a fight! First round of the playoffs and the Hitmen pull the 5th seed Redsox. Adam Crooks gets the start on the mound after his past two great performances. Great pitched game by Crooks holding the Redsox scoreless for the first three innings and striking out the side in the third. Dorlan Joshway goes in strong at the plate, 3-3 with 2 2B,s. Crooks bats in Joshway in the first to go up 1-0. In the top of the fourth Josh Graham Smashes a two run homerun to put the Hitmen up 3-0. But the Redsox come back with an answer in the bottom of the fourth with a RBI 2b by Silva and an RBI by Mendenhall, making the score 3-2. The Redsox come back in the sixth with a three run Homerun by Trost to take a 3-5 lead. After a hard battle Kern drives in a run in the last inning to put the HITMEN within one but they leave the tying run on third in a 4-5 game.
