Jesse Callier a Warren Alumni and former Razorback player signed with the University of Washington Huskies for 2010. While at Warren he rushed for 3,010 yards and 43 touchdowns as a senior and rushed for 6,529 yards in three-year career, while playing for coach Chris Benadom. He was named a first-team All-CIF Southern Section Western Division running back in 2009 and won the San Gabriel Valley League title as a senior.

Before football players get a chance to prove themselves to the public, they have to prove themselves to their teammates. In the case of Jesse Callier, that didn't take very long. The UW true freshman running back from Downey, Calif., enrolled at Washington in time for spring practice, and quickly made believers out of those he practiced against every day.
"During spring ball, I remember one play that still sticks in my head where he had a run and juked about three kids and made two straight-up fall down," said middle linebacker Cort Dennison. "When I saw that, I knew he was a real big-time football player." So when Callier took the first handoff of his college football career 39 yards against BYU, there was no surprise on the UW sideline.

2010 His first year at the University of Washington he played in all 13 games, starting four (Oregon State, Stanford, WSU and Holiday Bowl vs. Nebraska) as a second running back. He is one of 14 true freshman to play this season, and one of eight to start at least one game. Impressively he finished the regular season with 433 rushing yards on 77 carries and 98 receiving yards on 18 catches. The top game was the win over UCLA, when he rushed for 107 yards on just 10 carries. During the Holiday Bowl win over Nebraska he rushed for 9 yards and also threw two passes (completing one for 16 yards). He also served as a game captain for the Arizona State game and was named the Husky Fever 12th Man of the Year at the team's awards banquet.

2011 He played in all 13 games, served as the UW's No. 2 tailback all season. Only a sophomore, he already ranks No. 2 on the UW career kick return yards list with 1,309 and No. 4 on the career kick returns list with 57 ... 23.0-yard career kick return average is No. 8 in Husky history. He had 10 carries for 47 yards in opener vs. Eastern Washington and also carried the ball 10 times, for 81 yards and a touchdown, vs. Colorado. Callier scored a touchdown on a blocked punt for the first score of the Apple Cup win over Washington State ... one of the UW's two main kick returners, with 23 returns on the season ... also a regular special teams performer ... four carries for 44 yards vs. Washington State ... three carries for 22 yards at Oregon State ... had two carries and a 28-yard reception in the Alamo Bowl ... won the Apple Cup Big Play of the Game Award (for returning blocked punt for a TD) at the team's postseason banquet

We are proud of Jesse and his accomplishments and wish him continued sucess and take pride in knowing that the Razorbacks played an instrumental role with his character development.
