BOARD POSITION OPENINGS:

 

The 2009 Board of Directors are looking for hard working dedicated people for the following positions
If anyone is interested in any of these positions, please contact Mark Hanson at
president@dvyf.org  and fill out a volunteer form.

 

CORPORATE SPONSOR DIRECTOR – Seeks corporate, retail business or private donations.


FUNDRAISING DIRECTOR
– Formulates participant fundraising programs, sets schedule and location of events and handles all matters related to special fundraising programs.

MERCHANDISE DIRECTOR
– Handles all matters relating to Wolverine merchandise. Orders clothing and novelty items for sale. Manages Souvenir booth and orders Board and Coach shirts.

FOOTBALL FINANCIAL SECRETARY – Manages all paperwork and activities relating to the collection of fees for Football participants. Generates monthly invoices and statements for participants and coordinates with the Treasurer to create the monthly financial report.

 
OPERATIONS DIRECTOR – Files field use permits and maintains organizational contracts, while also managing the accessibility of fields for practices, scrimmages and home games.

PUBLIC RELATIONS DIRECTOR
– Generates articles and advertisements regarding DVYF activities and submits them to the media (newspaper, radio, etc.) and prepares home game programs.

FOOTBALL EQUIPMENT DIRECTOR
– Inventories, purchases, assigns and maintains all football equipment worn by athletes, football coaching equipment and safety supplies.

CONCESSIONS DIRECTOR –
Purchases, inventories, and manages the Snack Shack at home games and special events such as Weigh-ins, Picture Day, or Playoff games.

FIELD & SAFETY DIRECTOR
– Responsible for EMT / Medical personnel at practices and home games and establishes First Aid / CPR training for administrators and coaching staff.
