Limited Space Avail for Fall Bulldogs. See Below

September 14, 2015

The Bulldogs summer teams just wrapped up a highly successful summer season with 2 Summer League Championships.  Then we did some local WCBB Tournaments in late August and won 5 more.  That said, summer is over and Fall is just starting.  Our Fall session runs Sept & Oct.  Practice and games have just begun and we have limited space for team as well as practice only players.  So if your interested in joining the top club in the Valley, please read on.

So what is included in the Fall program?  Well, for Fall we will practice twice two weeknights per week for Sept and Oct  We will also play an 8 to 10 game league season on the weekends that starts the weekend of Sept. 12-13 and goes to the last weekend in October.  I am negociating practice time with the cities right now.  That said, we secured the first 2 weeks and should get the balance of the schedule finalized this week.  So check the Calendar link on the left side of this website regularly.  When we get gym time, we put it up there immediately.  As soon as the city gives us our time, we will update the calendar.  With that in mind, weeks 1 & 2 are up now with the balance to come.

Does Fall Interfere with CYO?  NO.  I was a CYO Athletic Director for 15 years and know their calendar intimately.  CYO does signups in August, tryouts in September, starts practice in October and doesn't start league games until the first weekend in November.  We finish the last weekend in October, they start the first weekend in November.  So our Bulldogs Fall Session will take you right up to the start of your CYO League play but wont conflict.

Does Fall Interfere with HS Basketball? NO.  Per CIF rules, HS tryouts start the 2nd Monday in November.  For Sept & Oct on the HS campus, Football is King.  Most HS teams, if they do anything at all, might just do open gym which is just something to keep their players from getting rusty.  It provides no coaching, no structure and no league games.  Our HS guys have a tremendous advantage at tryouts in that they have been practicing twice a week and playing highly competitive games on weekends all the way up to their HS tryouts.  That's one of the reasons so many of our HS guys make HS teams.

So, if you are interested joining the top club in the Tri Valley, contact Coach LeClaire (PGLeClaire@comcast.net) ASAP and get signed up.  Keep in mind, space is limited so dont delay. Thanks and I hope to see you all on the floor with the Bulldogs soon,
