March is here and Spring Bulldogs signups are happening now. And if you want to play, we still have limited space available in all grades so shoot me us an email and we will get you all the info as well as add you to our mailing list. There are a few ways to register. You can register online (email me (pgleclaire@comcast.net) and I will get your the forms and instructions to pay via PayPal) or you can come to practice with us and sign up in person ( prac this week, Tues / Thurs @ PMS, times & locations for all practices on calendar link to the left). But if you want to sign up, and I can't stress this enough, DON'T DELAY! Contact Coach at PGLeClaire@comcast.net and let him know you're interested. That said, here is what we have happening right now:
SPRING BULLDOGS : Spring is our biggest session every year (3 Months, March, April, May). The program is open to Boys and Girls, 2nd grade to HS Varsity. Last year, we had 21 teams for Spring including 4 girls teams and 3 HS Boys teams. The beauty of the Bulldogs is, we have room for all skill levels from the elite player to the beginner. You see, in each grade, we have multiple teams broken up by skill level. All teams will practice twice a week and play in the highly competitive MVP league. Our most skilled teams (known as BULLDOGS ALPHA) will also do some limited AAU Tournament play including Reno over Memorial Day Weekend.
SIGNUP FOR SPRING NOW - If you haven't signed up yet but want to play, don't get shut out. We have space available and you can signup now. Simply shoot me an email (pgleclaire@comcast.net) saying you are interested and then plan to come to practice this week to check out the program and hopefully signup right there. Just understand, we don't have an unlimited capacity for players. 24 teams is our limit and we are starting to fill up. Once we are full, we are full so don't get left out. Signup this week and be guaranteed a roster spot.
SPRING PRAC SCHED : March and April practice is set and on the calendar link on the left side of this page. Negotiating May & June now and hope to have those dates confirmed and up on this site by mid March. That said, here is what we have happening this week.
- Tues @ PMS & Thurs @ Harvest Park, both in Pleasanton - 5:30 to 6:30 PM, 2nd & 3rd Boys and all Girls / 6:30 to 7:30 PM, 4th & 5th Grade Boys / 7:30 to 8:30 PM, 5th Alpha 1 & 2 and all 6th Boys / 8:30 to 9:30 PM, 7th, 8th and HS Boys
- Sat / Sun, March 19 & 20 - Games start in the Walnut Creek area, details to follow.
* Note, All 3 of our girls teams have officially moved to our early practice, 5:30 to 6:30 PM for the balance of Spring.
BULLDOGS ALPHA - Our Alpha program is for our most skilled / committed players. For Alpha, we don't do the 3 separate sessions. Rather, we ask for an 8 month commitment, 1 long session from March to the end of October. Over that time, we practice twice a week, play the 3 leagues (Spring, Summer and Fall) and look to do about 5 tournaments including Reno over Memorial Day Weekend. That works out to about 45 games and 70 practices over 8 months, more than enough for any young player. If your son is a good player that you think may benefit from this more committed program, contact Coach LeClaire and he will get you the details.
SUMMER & FALL BULLDOGS: if the Spring doesn't work for you but you want to play Bulldogs, still get on our mailing list., We run Summer and Fall sessions and you can always join then if that works better for you.
BULLDOGS SKILLS CLINICS - We also run skills clinics. We will probably do one in the Spring (Mid March to Mid May), one in the Summer (mid July to mid Aug) and two in the Winter (Nov to Feb). Get on our mailing list or check back here for details.
Anyway, Check back here for updated information. If your interested in playing Spring or any other session with us or possibly consider yourself a potential ALPHA ELITE Player, shoot me an e-mail at PGLeClaire@comcast.net and I will add you to our mailing list and bring you out to check out the best program in the Tri Valley. Thanks and I hope to see you on the floor with us soon,
Coach LeClaire
