Space Avail in Winter Workouts, Next Session Sat, Nov 15

The EASTBAY BULLDOGS are pleased to announce that our 13th annual Winter Workout Program has just kicked off.  The workouts are 2 hours long and held every Saturday (10 more dates in all) from Nov 15 to Jan 17 in Pleasanton. This is a very popular winter program we have been running for years and it is bound to fill up but right now, there is still space available to jump in.  The program is open to boys and girls, 2nd to 8th grade as well as HS players not playing with their school HS Basketball team. The times and dates are all posted on our Calendar Link to the left of this screen.

So what are the Winter Workouts? The Winter Workouts are a skills based, all encompassing basketball workout for the player that is serious about improving his or her game. At each workout, we work on both individual and team skills that can be brought with you to one of our teams or any other team you may play for. The program is like a great basketball camp where you can focus on your individual game and get better. However, instead of 1 week, like traditional camps, this program runs 3 months (Nov, Dec, Jan).

If you are currently playing CYO or MS basketball, this program is the perfect supplement to really help you improve your skills and move up on your teams depth chart RIGHT NOW. And if you are thinking about playing Bulldogs in the spring, these workouts are a great way to try out the program and see if you like what we do. That said, many of our Spring, Summer and Fall players like to attend these workouts to stay sharp by working with our coaches at the fast pace we like to practice at. These highly successful workouts have also shown many CYO and City League players what it will really take to get to the next level and are a great way to introduce your child to Bulldogs Basketball to see if our program is something for you in the spring.

The first hour & 15 min of each workout will focus on fundamental skills; dribbling, passing, rebounding & shooting technique as well as some 1 on 1, 2 on 2 & 3 on 3 team offense skills. Next, we will move to 15 minutes of work on the all important "up and down" transition game, offense to defense as well as defense to offense. Then, for the final 30 minutes we focus on teaching the individual player to be better within the team game. We do this by playing live, competitive 1 on 1, 2 on 2 and 3 on 3 games.  Time permiting, we play 5 on 5 as well. 

An exciting change we are offering this season is, Team Pricing. If your CYO, MS or City League team would like to join this program, we can offer you a group rate. This is a great way for your team to get an extra practice every week and learn from the best coaching staff in the Bay Area. If your Head Coach wants to participate, he or she can lead your team through our program, learning from our staff as well.

We also offer a Drop In rate of $30 per workout. If you can't commit to the full program but would like to take advantage of this program on a specific date, if space is available, we take individual players on a Drop In basis. You just pay $30 at the start of the workout and get a great run. I must be straight with you though, the drop in rate is a higher per workout price than if you were to sign up for the full remaining 10 weeks in the program.  Also know, if we fill up, there will be no room for drop ins. However, if you can't do the whole thing, the drop in is a great way to get a great workout.

So again, the program is open to boys and girls, 2nd to 8th grade as well as to HS kids not currently playing for their school team. There are 10 sessions remaining.  We will workout every Saturday from next Saturday, November 15 to late January (Jan 17). This program is one of our most popular and always fills up.
