East End Youth Basketball’s mission is to provide the counties' youth with a safe and fun environment in which to develop their mind, body and spirit through team competition.

EEYB emphasizes teamwork, sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, team spirit, and good decision-making. We would also like to teach all participants that the attainment of their athletic skill is secondary when being compared to becoming good law-abiding citizens. 

We will provide the youth with an approach to understanding the importance of life skills through basketball. By designing this program’s teams after historically black colleges and universities, we are looking to give the children the mindset that despite adversity they can further their education.
