Age Requirement
Tryout age requirements are open to all participants with the designated age level May 1 to April 30. For example, if the Tryout candidate was born July 7, 1993, he would Tryout for the 12 year old Travel Team. Participants are allowed to play “up” one year.

Residency Requirement
Tryouts are open to all candidates who reside in Elk Grove Village Park District boundaries, Elk Grove Village boundaries and/or will/or are attending the following Junior High Schools: (1) Grove and (2) Mead as well as all elementary schools in School Districts 54 and 59 that “feed” in these Junior High Schools. Tryouts are also open to Elk Grove residents attending private schools located within the boundaries of Elk Grove Village. After age 12, tryouts are open to players who reside outside the boundaries defined above in this paragraph and teams cannot select more than 3 players to the team who reside outside the boundaries defined above in this paragraph.
All Elk Grove Travel Baseball Teams are required to have selected players meet the above residency requirements. Selected players may come from other towns only if the specific age level lacks at least a minimum of 11 Tryout participants.
Age and boundary requirement exceptions are at the discretion of the Travel President.
