Ghost Bike tie up R.I.P Manny Santizo

Thanks to Carlos Morales of the "East Side Bike Club" for bringing out the Ghost Bike Calaca



On Sunday April 18,2011 approximately 9:15pm

Manny santizo was riding his bike in silver lake two blocks from home when he was struck by a car. The car backed up after hitting

him and fired three shots at him fatally wounding him.

Manny worked at a fast food restaurant to support his aging parents and his four year old child.

No gang affiliations. Hard worker. Kind hearted guy.

A son, a brother, a father, a friend and now a victim of senseless violence.

I have painted a ghost bike for him and am planning to chain it up

Ill start by saying a few words around 830 and chain it up

Please be respectful.

a buddy of mine was riding his bike sunday night in silver lake when a car came up from behind ran into him while on his bike, then reversed and shot him in cold blood.

we need help raising funds to bury him.

he was a hard worker from jack n box, gave practically all his earnings to his folks and his baby's momma for his 4 year old son that is now fatherless.

it was all over the news.
