Elite Baseball Academy's Director, Darin Everson has been conducting FREE BASEBALL CAMPS for youth baseball players since 2007 with the priority of FILLING LOCAL FOOD SHELVES.  These events are designed to share the experiences and knowledge of baseball that Everson has learned over his 19 years in professional baseball while helping to put food on the tables of those in need.  Everson spent seven years as a professional player, two years as an associate scout, three years as a hitting coach and seven years as a field manager.  The players do pay for the event but they do donate a minimum number of non-perishable food items.  All of the food items and any monetary donations go directly to the local food bank.

Darin Everson' FILL THE FOOD SHELF Baseball Camps have donated 1,000's of pounds of food to the local food shelves in Northern Minnesota where Everson grew up.  "It is a great thing for our baseball players to feel the connection to their communities through their donation of food while continuing the learn our great game of baseball.  It is a win-win situation and we are very proud of our efforts to help families in need." - Darin Everson

Please contact Darin Everson (elitebaseballacademy@live.com) if you would like to help in the donation of food or money at any of our upcoming events, whether it is a regular instructional event or one of our FILL THE FOOD SHELF Camps.
