Coaching guidelines

INTENT TO COACH FORM: ll interested parties will need to submitt a Intent to Coach Form and will be review by EGSA board members.
PROTECTIVE EYEWEAR LAW: The State of New Jersey now requires all children who wear corrective lenses and participate in sports to wear protective eyewear. The law became effective in July 2006:

C.5:18-1 Protective eyewear for certain children participating in sports. 1. Any child who wears corrective eyeglasses while participating in racquetball, squash, tennis, women's lacrosse, basketball, women's field hockey, badminton, paddleball, soccer, volleyball, baseball or softball, sponsored by a school, community or government agency, shall be required to wear protective eyewear that meets the frames standards of the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) F803 and lens standards of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Z87.1.

EWING CODE OF CONDUCT: Ewing Township requires all parents and their children to sign a Code of Conduct form prior to the start of the season.
