    Falcons History

The Falcons began in the Spring of 2003 with 2 girls teams, a U12 team and a U14 team. In 2004, the organization grew to 4 teams; U12, U13, U14 and U15. We now have a volunteer Board of Directors, who run the operation, allowing the coaches the freedom to do what they love- teach girls basketball. Our 2005 season consisted of 7 tournaments and 110 games. In 2006, we grew to 5 teams with 2 U12 teams being selected. We are proud of the fact that our players are from 14 different Western Massachusetts towns, and look foward to growing our player base.
Our games are played throughout New England. In 2006, our teams will in the the Massachusetts State Tournament, as well as tournaments in Springfield, Hartford, Worcester, Storrs CT., Cape Cod, Danvers, and Portsmouth N.H.

Our philosphy and goals are driven by our three guiding pricipals:
Have each player increase their basketball skills, both as a individual and as a member of a team.
Win more than our fair share of games.
    Have fun!

We look forward to a successful 2007 season.
