Fall 2008 U16 Tryouts Are Coming!
The Freedom, currently an ODSL Division 1 U15 Girls travel team, is looking for talented, physically fit, confident and motivated players for the upcoming Fall (2008) U16 Girls travel soccer season. Players should be born on or after 08/01/92. We will be looking at interested players throughout the summer and will schedule tryouts accordingly. If you are a competitive player who loves the game and loves to work hard, we want you!
The Freedom are based in the City of Fairfax and hold practices in that area throughout the year. Emphasis is on effort and improvement during practice and games. Individual goals center around technique, tactics, team skills, confidence, fitness, and being good and supportive teammates. Goalkeeper candidates welcome! The Freedom also participate in tournaments, indoor winter soccer, and team training programs throughout the year. We also hold informal get-togethers, team-building excursions, and fundraisers during the season.
