**RULES for Away Meets**

Athletic Dept. News:

New procedure for parents taking kids home from away meets: 

YOU WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO TAKE YOUR CHILD FROM AN AWAY MEET UNLESS THIS PROCEDURE IS MET - AS PER TEAM POLICY.  THE COACHES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR CHILD AT THESE EVENTS AND IT IS VERY DISRUPTIVE & UPSETTING WHEN EVERYONE DOES NOT FOLLOW POLICY AND IS THEN NOT ACCOUNTED FOR!

It seemed the easiest to work through email, though hand written would be accepted but the parents would be responsible for getting the note to the high school, and the child responsible for getting the note to the coach.
One email could be sent as follows:
 
High School
 
 
Middle School
 
The email should be sent the day before, but would be accepted the day of the meet prior to leaving.
