WOE played in the 2007 Front Range Faceoff held over Mothers Day weekend at Sun Microsystems in Westminster. The team played in a division that was one notch higher than where we usually play, similar to the B1 division of the regular season. WOE made it all the way to the semi-finals and finished in 4th place overall. It was a great effort by the entire team especially for the fact that we were very short-benched - with 9 to 10 players participating in the games. Our superMom goalie Laurie was awesome in net. On Sunday morning she stopped more than 50 shots! Great fun and great hockey from a great team!
