MVP AWARD ANNOUNCED
POWER and MORE POWER highlighted the first inning rally in the Championship Game as dynamic sluggers CHARLIE CARPENTER and BRADEN ROLLINS
went BACK-to-BACK and broke the backs of the FLORIDA CANES.
The duo of HR hitters claimed this year's honors as the MVP's of the event.
In the first ever award it came down to too close to split and a CO-MVP designation was given to the two fine athletes.
Carpenter pitched some and played a little catcher as well as DH and first base roles. Rollins threw 4 innings and roved like a gazelle in the outfield making plays in rightfield look easy. Both owe a large thanks to their team mates for setting the stage for the award.
"Rarely does a player from a non-Championship club get this award" replied
the selection chair, when asked what it took to win this award. It took a full team effort including honorable mention players HUNTER ALLEN catcher/pitcher and RYAN OLENEK leadoff and centerfielder. The only other honorable mention was a player from the Dynasty Elite - SS Romy Gonzalez.
GONZALEZ hit two HR and pitched some and played a tough Shortstop.
Congratulations to the Dynamic Duo of
Charlie & Braden ...
