o   Reminder to email Glen final score by 8 pm Sunday following that weekend.

o   Regional Football Commissioner, Mr. Harry Harrington’s, clarification on the LSR.  Regional's answer is FINAL.  Once a season starts no Rules can be change.  With that in mind, ANY TEAM who puts their team into LSR must remain in the LSR for the remainder of the game.  It has always been my position that once a team reaches 18 points difference (as suggested in the rulebook) that team should start to make every effort to not reach LSR of 28 points difference.  The managing of time, plays, and players is the Head Coaches responsibility.  Pop Warner has never been about one team beating up on another team, but more so about fair play for both.  Is it fair that one team is stronger/better than another?  Pop Warner through LSR puts a burden on the winning team in effort to make the playing field fairer.  Indian River saw that very point up close and personal on Sunday.  The Comets proved that once a game goes into LSR that it is definitely still a winnable game for both.

    • The Tiny Mite Game for Saturday, October 3rd, 2009, has been postponed till Saturday, October 24th, 2009.  The Games on October 24th will be played at the Home Team Football Field.  The Watertown Recreation Department has a Lacrosse Tournament on that day so in order to play on the 24th; we have to play at our own Associations Facilities.  Therefore the Home Team on the October 3rd Game Day will play their October 3rd opponent on their own Field/Turf. Every effort to give the Tiny Mites all their scheduled games is being made.  Please inform ALL Players & Parents of the change.  If a Home Team can not secure a field the Opponent will be given the chance. In conclusion it is encouraged that EVERY Tiny Mite Player on October 3rd, 2009 Participate in the Annual Local CHEER Competition.  To be held at the South Jefferson High School.  This is the one day a year that the FOOTBALL PLAYER CHEERS ON the CHEER LEADERS for all they do for you on the sidelines every game day.
