As many of our more experienced baseball family members are aware, Little League has been transitioning the league age determination date from end of April to the end of August over the past few years.  This year, 2018, is the final transition year with the last of the 2005 birth year players grandfathered for the 2018 season (players born between May 1 and August 31, 2005 are grandfathered as 12-year-olds for this season).
