Now taking donations for Invitational raffle!
We are one month away from the 2008 Hoosier Heartland Invitational and so today I am begining the raffle to raise money for the Boy Scouts. All moneys raised will go to Boy Scout troop 3203 here in Logansport and is primarily for the purchase of a Pinewood Derby track of their own. For years now they have had to borrow tracks from surrounding counties...I am on a crusade to change all that and with your help we will make our goal.
I think I have put together a great raffle prize and I just want to thank everyone who has donated items for the raffle. The Boy Scouts really need this guys, so please by generous and help us out. The goal is $900 and I will be giving weekly updates to let everyone know how far we are away from the goal.
Here is the Prize Package:
• An $100 gift card to NFL Shop.com
• A Pittsburgh Steeler field cover donated by "Laure" (thanks John)- $80 value
• An MFCA prize package which includes a one year subscription to The Tweak, a MFCA magnet and Pesonalized MFCA Coffee Mug- $50 value
• Al Dunham was volunteered to hand paint a "fantasy" 11 man team of the winner's choice.
• Lynn has donated two special autographed Baseball cards. One is a Pro-set card signed by Jim Harbaugh (Chicago Bears) and the other is a Topps card signed by Jim Kelly (Buffalo Bills)
Raffle tickets are 2 for $5. To make a donation or to purchase raffle tickets, you can either send a check made out in my name or a money order. I wish I had a Paypal account to make it easier, but my experiences with Paypal have not been pleasent. If you are not interested in the raffle and just want to make a donation, then please note it when you send your money...otherwise I will assume all money sent is for the raffle.
Please mail all donations to...

I want to thank everyone in the MFCA community for all that you guys do. This hobby is not only about vibrating fields, strategy and wins/losses...it is a real fellowship and brotherhood...and it is also about charity. I want to also remind everyone, that the Seawall Brawl is also a fundraiser and that makes it much more than just a miniature football tournament to me...it becomes something even more special. Please donate to all charity events within the MFCA community. Thanks and may God Bless all of you...
