A major change in format for the 2008 HHEFL college season....
The 620 series board has been a HHEFL tradion since it was formed back in 2005. By using the same board size through the years, we have been able to establish consistent comparasions in regards to stats from season to season. Now with the addition of several coaches in the Chicago area, and since most of these coaches use monster boards, the HHEFL commissioners have deceided to allow boards of all sizes for this season. However, the championship bowl game will still be played on the official HHEFL 620 field cover, but all home teams will have the option of choosing what board size they can use. Hopefully this will work out well for all coaches.

In other news...mark your calendars for October 25 or November 1st, as this month's session moves to Elkhart, Indiana and Tim Young's residence. The commissioners are still trying to finalize plans for October's session, in which we hope each coach will be able to atleast get two games in against a coach not from their area. We need all coaches to contact Matt Culp on which day works best for you, so we can deceide on one date that works best for everyone. A date will be announced soon, with coaches who plan to be there and a schedule of teams that will play. If you want to play someone specific that day, then please contact the HHEFL home office. As for the schedule, the plan is for everyone to play everyone at least once. The goal is eight games for each coach, but following the October meeting a more detailed schedule will be ironed out. Games and highlights to come, as the Chicago area coaches plan to get together before the October meeting.

One more piece of business...if you have not turned in your 2008 rosters for your college team, please do so prior to the October gathering. We will also be taking head shots (like the ones in the coaches section) of each coach in front of our banner, so bring your jerseys...it should be a great afternoon and Tim is a great host.

Stats for the first three games have been tabulated and will be posted soon, along with complete game writeups. Stay Tuned for more updates!
