Greg Hardmon is the Lord of the Ring, as he wins the 2008 Miggle Championship!
It was one of the best conventions ever, as the bus for the 2008 Miggle Convention left the Hoosier state early Friday morning and returned home Sunday evening following a very enjoyable convention. Matt Wavra, Matt Culp and Tim Young represented the HHEFL in this year's Miggle Convention held in Detroit Michigan. It was all spectacular...the Friday Night Welcome Dinner, the skills competition, the Saturday round robin tournament and the Miggle Championship on Sunday. It was three days of pure fun for everyone there.

Not only did we enjoy great electric football action, but we met coaches from around the country...some for the first time. We also got to witness the game that eveyone has been waiting for and was three years in the making..."The Motor City Beat Down". This game featured the fantasy teams of "The Swamp Moose" coached by Glenn Hardaway from Sugarland, Texas and the "Sasquatches" coached Al Dunham of Grand Rapids, Michigan. It was a great game, as the Swamp Moose hung on to beat the Sasquatch 14-10.

As for the Miggle tournament it was Jimbo Dunagan from Chicago versus Greg Hardmon from Detroit, Michigan. In a tight defensive struggle it was Greg Hardmon who came away with a 7-0 win, in just his first ever convention. Congratualtions from the HHEFL

A special thanks must be given to Michael and Delayne Landsman, who once again put on a spectacular convention and once again showed their kindness towards all of us. Thank you for this yearly "reunion"...it is a very special event.

And one final thank you to some coaches from around the country, who made us feel welcome and made the weekend very special...thank you Corey Johnson, Will Travers, Frank Johnson, Jimbo Dunagan, John DiCarlo, Joe Allore, Cleon Tate, Mike Turner, Bryan Nutt, "Greenbay Glenn", Ray Fanera, Mark Francis, Mike Guttman, Ron Bell, Ronnie Bradley, "Hightower", Jim Jackson, Norber Revels, Jim Davis, Greg Hardmon, Steve Miles, Dwayne Jennings, Al Dunham and Edgar Downs just to name a few. It is guys like you that make this hobby more than just a game...all you guys make it into a family and the HHEFL thanks you!

A complete photo run down of the convention, will be available next week on this site in our photo album section...be sure to check it out...
