GAMES 1-12 GAME STARS
Pictured are the 12 "GAME STARS" from POOL PLAY.
On day one ...
Auston Smith was out standing for Wellington on both offense and defense
against the Meteors. Chris Hernandez caught a great game and was potent on offense as well against the Panthers. Ryan Olenek went 3-for-3 and scored twice against the Meteors. Spencer Diaz out pitched the St. Pete Hurricanes
and added some offense as well. Michael Suarez set the tone on the mound for the Elite over the Fire. Austin Bergner pitched 6 strong innings in a no decision versus the Hurricanes. Dylan Strickland toppled the Enforcers with a lefty cutter and great control. Tyler Levin of the Warriors showed to be the difference against the Elite.
On day two ...
Alejandro Castillo pitched the elite to victory over the Meteors. Brad Nenna provided the winning run and defensive play of the game versus the
Warriors. Ryne Valek overcame a sore leg after being hit to score the winning run for the Panthers against the Bullets. And the Enforcers German Marcos pitched well enough to hold the Hurricanes back in the final game of the day.
