Graded OL Reggie Wells as top OLineman I evaluated in Cardinals camp that year....After that season he was offered a lucrative free agent contract with the Buffalo Bills.... The Cardinals thought that highly of him to match the offer sheet from the Bills in order to retain him...
I quoted in my 2005 AZ Cardinals report on that 1st yr LB Karlos Dansby would play a key role in seeing the team rank in the top 10 in the NFL in total defense.... certainly other factors; many other factors go into making this happen, but again it hasnt happened very often for the Cardinals but it did happen in that 2005-06 campaign.....Top 10 in total Defnse & Offense....
My high grading of free agent DE Tyler King from UConn was justified after seeing him selected with the #1 overall Open Draft selection by the Cologne Centurions in the 2007 NFL Europe player draft...
