Dorchester, MA....Knights fight, but errors prove costly. The East Boston Knights just can't get it all going at the same time. Fielding continued to be the culprit for the Knights as they fumbled this game away early and often and dropped another heartbreaker 7-6. Brian Cosentino made his Knights debut and looked sharp giving up only 1 earned run over 5 innings. Baldassari led the troops with 2 hits as the offense battled all night scratching for it's 7 runs. The Knights took the lead in the 6th only to squander it in the bottom of the inning. Vader (0-1) took the loss for the club. Next up for the Knights at Winter Hill Saturday at 2pm

Knights let one slip away at the Trum


Winter Hill, Somerville, MA .....The home town team will learn very quickly from this one as they let one get away from them at the Trum. The Cyclones banged out 16 hits in this one but just could not get the big one when they needed it. Jonathon Scull got the start for the Knights giving up 4 earned runs in 4 innings pitched. The hometown kid gave up 12 hits in this one but did not allow a game breaking hit and was strong with men on base. The Knights had 12 hit and none bigger than Omar Ortiz double in the 7th to tie the game. Ben McBride went deep for the team's first home run ever. Mad Dogs bite punchless Knights..


East Boston, MA....Not much to talk about in this one. "If you could sum this one up in one word it would be errors" said the manager. "We can't even throw the ball around the horn the right way right now" Tyler Higgans got his first start for the Knights and looked sharp. He gave up back to back triples to start the game and settled right in after that. "Hey Wellzzzeyyyy!" shouted Higgans after Mejia made a nice play to end an inning. Jarred Kell was 2 for 3 with a blast that ended up being a triple. next up for the Knights Monday the 24th vs Brighton Minutemen
