Game 16 vs South Boston Saints 6/25/10

Eastie beats Southie! DORCHESTER, MA......Eastie beats Southie in Dorchester at Ronan Park on a hot and steamy night tying the season series at 1 a piece. Ben McBride started this one for the Knights allowing 5 runs, 4 of which were earned, 7 hits and struck out 8 pitching a complete game for the home team. He spotted the Saints to an early 3 - 0 lead, a lead that would last until the bottom of the 4th. The Knights exploded for 5 runs in that inning and leading the charge was Matt Perrin who stroked a double to right that scored a run and Jesse Stanley who slammed a single up the middle for another 2 runs. Southie had the tying runs on 2nd and 3rd in the 7th inning but Eastie held on as Ben McBride struck out Andrew Larocque to end the game. This game got testy at times as this rivalry was renewed. In the bottom of the sixth both teams had words but nothing came of it. In the end the Knights held thier composure and won the game.........Next up for the Knights vs. Beacons in East Boston Monday night at 7:30.

Game 17 vs Mckay Club Beacons 06/28/10

Beacons all over Knights early and often EAST BOSTON, MA........This one was a massacre. The punchless Knights bleed all over the field on Monday and were lucky enough when this one ended. Tyler Higgans got the start for the Knights and exited early with an undisclosed injury. The Knights emptied thier bench on this night even using thier manager and co-owner, Eric Bellavia....Next up for the Knights Wednesday against rivial Revere.

Game 18 vs Revere Rockies 06/30/10

Knights close gap but just can't climb Rockies DORCHESTER, MA.........Same old story, same old song and dance for the hometown team. Flashes of brilliance at times and just plain embarassing mistakes that kill them. Errors again were the culprit for the Knights as they dug themselves a deep hole they were never able to climb out of. Stephen Maycock got the start for the team and pitched good enough to win. Again. The defense was no help as only 2 of the 8 runs allowed were earned. Offensivley Pedro Flores was 3 for 3 and Matt Perrin had 2 big doubles along with 3RBI to keep things close.............Next up for the Knights at Savin Hill 730.

Game 19 vs Savin Hill Hornets 7/1/10

Game 20 vs Malden Bulldogs 6/12/10

Knights hand game to top seed Malden EAST BOSTON, MA.....Classic Knights. In a game they should have won, the Knights hand top seed Malden a victory. The home town team plyed great outhitting Malder 6 to 4 and Stephen Maycock pitched a gem. He allowed only 2 hits and 4 runs (all unearned) to lead the charge for the Knights. The Knights held the lead through 2 but thats when they booted the game away. Bad throws and mental errors were the problem and the Knights could not solve Ken Olisky after the 1st. Olisky cruised through 6 and improved his record to 5-0. Offensivly for the Knights Tyler Higgans led the team with 2 hits.
