One of the changes coach Dan Chang made was giving athletic wide receiver Jimmy Rodgers some time at quarterback. "We knew we had to get the ball in his hands more," Chang said. Rodgers took on the extra duty in Saturday afternoon's contest at Norristown and, in carrying nine times for 94 yards and completing his only pass attempt, helped the visiting Colonials romp to a 35-6 nonleague victory. "Coach Chang talked to me during the week, told me that he was drawing up some plays for me at quarterback," Rodgers said. "I was a little nervous at first. But as a captain, I knew I had to help our team to a win. "The 6-foot, 180-pound senior, who was a QB in youth football for the Mount Airy Bantams, ripped off gains of 16, 34, and 9 yards. Midway through the second quarter, on a wheel route, he connected with halfback Mikean Robinson for 30 yards. "He's smart, makes good decisions, and throws a nice ball," Chang said of Rodgers, who plays cornerback on defense. Jimmy Rodgers played for the Mt Airy Bantams from 2004-2011.

Daryl Worley; pictured on left in the youth photo, played for my Olney Eagles 75jv undefeated team in 2004.  He played defensive end and tight end when I coached him. He was primarily a receiver in high school. He is a 2013 graduate of Penn Charter, and is  currently in his sophomore year starting at cornerback for West Virginia University.
