    A Very Juicy Game.
Beverly Hills, CA - The Law Dawgs finished off the season on a winning note beating a very good but shorthanded Militia team with the score of 61-43. The Militia were forced to start the game with only four players and gave up an early 14-point lead to the Law Dawgs. Things took a turn for the worse as two Militia players started to argue with each other resulting in one of the referees calling the game without any justification. Within a couple of minutes, the referee put on his coat and exited the building leaving everyone wondering. The league officials stepped in and overturned the decision, the game resumed with only one ref. It was rumored that the referee was just looking for an excuse to go home and watch the remainder of the Lakers/Cavaliers game on TNT because he had some "juice" on the game. The game resumed and The Militia got a little bit of their own juice by adding a fifth player who just happened to be named Juice. To the delight of the fans in the building, the game started to be more interesting and the Law Dawgs' lead was reduced to 7 points. However, the Militia could not find enough juice in their lineup to be any threat to the Dawgs and lost by 19. After the game the Militia stated that the juice they had was watered down and did not have the essential vitamin and minerals needed to compete. This writer has always preferred Gatorade to juice anyways. With the win, the Dawgs improve to 10-5 and finished the regular season in second place. See you in the playoff, and remember: GATORADE, NOT JUICE!

*** Game Notes - Mike Mgdesyan lead all scorers with 16. Ed Hardy once again made his presence felt on the defensive end blocking shots and had a great dunk on the offensive end. Hovik Soibatian showed he has some serious game by balling it up in his skating shoes, but fell just shy of getting his patented double-digit assists. John Mgdesyan finished the season once again by scoring more 3-pointers than 2-pointers. In fact his total 3-pointers made in the season were 3 times more (24 Threes, 8 Twos). The team was without Coach Yadegar who had to take the night off do to marital duties. Steve Rojas made his fourth appearance of the season and showed how unselfish passing can lead to some easy baskets. Naz once again showed that not only he can score the three but he can get the offensive rebound and score the two as well. Naz also finished the season as the team free-throw shooting leader with a .818 free-throw shooting percentage. George Mgdesyan showed off his passing skills and continued to pound the ball inside with success. Arash Hashemi had 14 points of the bench. Sam Ghahremanpour missed another game due to injury. We all miss you man, get well real soon!!!!!!!!
