Beverly Hills, CA - The Law Dawgs started the game flat as a pancake. After 11 minutes of play the team had not scored single point. However, their opponents had managed to only score 5 points. That’s right, the score was 5-0 after 11 minutes of play. The horrible officiating did not help the situation. At half time the Law Dawgs had a total of 9 fouls called against them as opposed to the 3 fouls called against the No Ringers.
The second half of the game was a much different story. The Law Dawgs managed to play a little better and pulled within two pints but could not pull down deep to take over the game, which resulted in a 40-27 loss. The most frustrating part of the whole night was the fact that the Dawgs were a much better team overall than their opponents, yet they could not find their grove.
After a couple of games in this young season the Law Dawgs are in the middle of the standings with a record of 1 win and 1 loss. It is speculated that as the season grows older and the Dawgs get the team chemistry going the quality of basketball will also improve.
