Keep the Gorilla!!
Every year when Huntsville and Lee plays baseball they play to win, but more importantly they play to keep the "The" Golden Gorilla. When Kevin Weisman was coaching baseball at Huntsville, he was attacked by a gorilla while hitting pre-game infield before a game at Lee High School. Every since that famed day, the winner gets to keep the Gorilla till the next year. Fortunatly, the Lee Generals have the gorilla in their possession now and loves the atmosphere it sees everyday. The Gorilla has been spreading rumors that he likes it so much at Lee that he wanted to make it a permanent fixture at the home of the Generals. So come out and watch the battle this March 13th and see where the Gorilla will spend next off season.
