Lovejoy took the lead late in the game in a 5-1 victory over Rockwall on Friday. The game was tied at one with Lovejoy batting in the top of the sixth when there was an error, scoring one run.
Rockwall captured the lead in the first inning. With one out in the first inning #25 drove in one run when he singled.
Mason Marsh earned the win for Lovejoy. He threw seven innings, allowing one run, three hits, and striking out four. #9 took the loss for Rockwall. He pitched five and two-thirds innings, surrendering five runs, three hits, and striking out six.
Luke Howell, Reed Fraser, and Jacob Terwilliger each managed one hit to lead Lovejoy.
