General meetings will be held on a monthly basis, at a place and time posted on the league web site. These meetings are open to anyone, not just coaches, trustees and officers. The purpose of these meetings is to discuss league business (including providing transparent financial disclosure) and make a forum available to anyone in need of discussing issues or obtaining information. They also serve as the basis for establishing member voting rights and officer/trustee eligibility . The MYFA by-laws require attendance at a requisite number of meetings to be eligible to vote and/or be elected as an officer or trustee. Anyone that would like to play an active part in the organization should attend as many meetings as possible.
