RBI Players & Parents,

It has become an annual tradition in November and it continued Saturday. It is with great pleasure that the Maryland RBI staff would like to send their warm congratulations for your victorious performance in the 2014 AAU Maryland Fall Wood Bat State Championships -- your third consecutive going back to the 2012 Fall Classic that sent Maryland RBI to the 2013 AAU National Championships. In baseball, as in life, we have to focus on the moment that we are in, whatever we're doing today, whatever we're doing right now to prepare ourselves, so that we have the best chance to be successful and take advantage of the opportunities that come our way. The most important thing is for your head to be where your feet are — stay focused on what you need to focus on in that moment so that you have the best chance to succeed. Playing baseball is an opportunity, so is winning. So it should be a fun thing. Embrace and take pride in these moments in life. In any sport, a championship season requires support. Maryland RBI has a winning team there, too -- its coaches, parents, partners including AAU, AAC Parks and Rec, Field of Dreams, our team suppliers, and most of all the RBI Baseball Club, all of which helped shape you into becoming a Champion. For now, on behalf of the Maryland RBI staff, we congratulate and thank you for showing us how the joy of youth playing a game they love lives on nobly and respectfully for our beloved sport in Maryland RBI. We look forward to your future achievements in life and baseball.
