Congraduations to the U/13 Boys for the heart stomping ride throught the Needham Memorial Weekend Tourney.  The team completed a 5 game run that included 14 penalty kicks in the Semifinal.  Only to go to penalty kicks again 3  hours later.   Both the semifinal and final game MCU needed to fight back from being down early by a goal.    With a much deeper wave of players MCU basically ran other teams down as waves of 7 players kept coming out. 

 

 

Update  The Maineiacs have added a State Championship to their Trophy Case.  The Maineiacs defeated Odyssey U/13s 3-1.   The Maineiacs are undefeated in State Cup play.  Going undefeated in pool play beating Maine Metro 4-2   Seacoast 3-2 and Odyssey 2-1.  quite a turn around from not winning a countable game last year.
