Eric M. went about his Astros business with a quiet confidence. He displayed tremendous talent on the mound as he had shown particularly with his win against Massapequa going 4 2/3 innings with 6K's. He was also impressive against Levittown North in the Memoral Weekend Tournament going 4 innings after giving up 4 runs in the first and none thereafter. In the Massapequa Tournament, he had an incredible fielding day at shortstop making countless key outs in their thrilling win vs. NBNM. Eric also pitched in the Championship Game going 4 innings with 2 earned runs and keeping the Astros right there with a chance to win.
Eric batted .240 for the year with 18 hits including 4 doubles and 10 RBI's. He also stole 7 bases and scored 20 runs.
He is a pitching talent who will only get better. He has also displayed a slick glove in the infield and will only improve as he gains more experience.
