2015 MILLARD SOX BASEBALL ORGANIZATION PARENT HANDOUT

HISTORY:

The Millard Sox started in 2007, giving players a chance to continue to play baseball at the legion level.

In 2012, our first team made a legion state tournament.

In 2013, our reserves won the Class C state tournament and followed that up in 2014 with a Class B Runner Up finish. During our first eight years, we have been able to help 20+ players continue on to play in college, including club baseball.

7:00-8:00pm Senior Gold, Junior Gold, Reserve Gold

LEGION MEETINGS:

April 29th or May 6th, 2015 ( Dinner 6:00pm, Meeting to Follow)

Either one of the two meetings to learn about the Legion program and their relationship with being a sponsor

of summer baseball.

FUNDRAISING BLITZ DAY:

April 30th, 2015: 18035 Oak Plaza (The Waters Edge Ministry Center)

Players will have a final day make additional fundraising card sales to reduce player fees.

Players Check In Start: 5:30pm

Players Will Blitz Neighborhoods: 6:00-7:30pm

Prizes given out: 7:30-8:00pm

All fundraising, sponsorship and banner information and documentation needs to be turned into Coach Davenport to be processed for the season.
