MSYFL has adopted the USA Football Coaching Education Program as the official certification program for all Mid-State coaches. USA Football established by the NFL and the NFL Players Association is the governing body for all amateur and youth football in the United States. Their Coaching Education program is the most comprehensive program available for youth coaches. The program covers topics such as hydration, concussion recognition and management plus a variety of other issues such as managing team members and communicating with parents.
