We take every opportunity to run clinics as fundraisers for the spring 2007 season. Here is some feedback from our Martin Luther King Jr. Day clinic:

    Hi Reggie.

Ali Plutnicki had a great time at the clinic on Monday and I was thrilled to hear how pumped up she was afterward!

When she got home, she showed off her spider ballhandling move, which thoroughly impressed her brother and sister. She also detailed the 11-man drill on the dry erase board. I was cracking up at her newfound passion!
The thing the clinic did the most for her, and I believe you should stress this when you are "selling" the clinics: She came home with a greater confidence about playing the sport. After one day her persona changed. I could tell she felt more knowledgable and more confident in her game.
For example, in our rec game last night, she was incredibly aggressive, she looked for her shots and she rebounded better than I have ever seen.

I'd send her to a clinic once a week if I could!
    Thanks for your work.
    LeAnn Plutnicki

From a 6th grade AAU player:
The clinic was the bomb it was fun and everything I think we should have more I loved everything I learned a lot of new post moves thank you it was great.

    From the Summer Guard Clinic:

    Hey Coach Reggie,

I really liked the guard clinic. You showed me alot of guard moves and things i can use in my game play. I liked the workout with the ball that you showed us. I do it and it helps me! I also liked the jumprope exercise you showed us. I'm trying to get it perfect! The big ball that you gave us is really helping me. The regular size ball seems soo tiny to me now because I got so use to using the big ball! I didn't really dislike anything and I wouldn't change anything in the future. This was one of the best clinics I've been to and it tought me alot!
    Thanks,
    Gina

    Coach Reggie,

What I liked was when we tried to throw the tennis ball up in the air and cross-over the basketball and tried to catch them both. I also liked the musical chair game. I didn’t like when we had to do defensive slides with the chair I thought that was really hard. I liked the clinic the way it was. I was at a basketball camp that week and I worked harder at your clinic. Thank you.

I thought the guard clinic was really good and I learned a lot of new skills. I liked when we worked on doing counter moves and also learning all of the famous player’s moves. I also liked doing the ball handling drills. I disliked when we had to do defensive slides with the chair in between our legs. I wouldn’t change anything if I were to come in the future.

    Coach Reggie,
I loved the clinic! But I think we should do more layups and shooting
drills. My favorite part of the clinic practicing passing and shooting. Musical chairs was a lot of fun!
Thank you for letting me play! See you next week.

The clinic was great! I had a lot of fun and learned a lot. I think we could have done more shooting drills though. Besides that it was a lot of fun.

    Hi Coach,
My daughter was happy to have attended the clinic. She expressed learning so many moves that can be of help for the coming season. Thank you for accepting her even if it was the last minute. Thank you also for making it fun for her.
    Take care,

    Hi Coach Reggie,

I thought the guard clinic was great! Learning the guard moves was fun, and so was the game we did on Thursday when each player has a number and you call different numbers out and whoever you call plays against the other person with their number. I really liked when you called out more than one number. Also, I really liked the musical chairs where we had to a crossover at each chair.

I didn't really like the part where we had to put the chair between our legs and do defensive slides. The only thing that I would change is that.

    Thanks for running the clinic!

    Coach,

Great job from what I saw, I think all the camps need to emphasis fundamentals and drills like you did!

Feedback from Post Clinic during Summer 2007:

    Coach,
I thought the clinic was great and just what they needed. I really don't have any complaints and can't think of anything you should change. If you offer it next year, I will enroll both my daughters again.
