Hoop Zone League info.: All games are indoors at Hoop Zone. Hoop Zone is a great facility http://www.hoopzone.net/), the schedule is always organized and set for the season. It is also right on Route 4 and easily reachable from the New York and Jersey City areas. You can reach it from Route 17, Route 80, and the Garden State Parkway. Games usually run from mid-September to the week before Thanksgiving in November. This includes 8 regular season games + play-offs. If anything gets behind, playoffs are on Thanksgiving weekend, but not on Thanksgiving.

IYB League info: All games are indoors at the Jewish Community Center in Fair Lawn, NJ. It is a great facility and includes 10 regular season games + play-offs, the schedule is always organized and set for the season. It is a short distance from 208 and route 4. there are 10 regular season games + play-offs. The games usually run from mid-September to the first week in December.

There is 1 practice a week for the first portion of the season (usually 1 1/2-2 months), locations are announced in September (last year we used OLMC in Ridgewood, STM in Midland Park, and 1 practice for each team was at Sports Place in Blauvelt). In addition to the 1 practice a week, there are two optional practices, 1 is a skills and drills workout and the other is a conditioning/speed/agility workout. The reason the practices and workouts end half way into the season is because most winter teams begin practicing then. Some players are on winter teams that practice every day.

Playing time is based on ability, effort, athleticism, attendance, and therefore, playing time is NOT guaranteed. Each team has approximately 8-10 players, with the exception of teams who have a large quantity of players who play multiple sports during the one season. They may have more to accommodate the fact that many players might be... Last fall, the following teams had the following amounts of players: Red - 8, Black - 9, Silver - 8, White - 12 plus 3 practice players.

During the fall season, there is much less of a commitment in comparison to the Spring season. The fall season is a great opportunity to keep your skills fresh before winter tryouts. It is also a great opportunity to be seen by the coaching staff a season before spring tryouts. The more you are seen and the more instruction you receive, the greater your chances are of making the team.

There are a few days of tryouts. You must attend at least 1, but it is suggested that you come to both. If you cannot attend either, please contact us anyway so we can work something out. If you do not attend either, you can NOT qualify for the A team. Please make sure your registration papers are in prior.

More information will be provided about tryouts and the fall season tuition will be announced in June-July.
