Gregg Hauck scored a goal in the first half and Jack Deckman added another in the second to give the Knights their first county victory in boys soccer in six years, a 2-0 triumph over Northeast.  "We've been in games with good teams and finally we've got on in our favor," North County coach Scott McGuire said.

 

Hauck scored the go-ahead goal wtih 13 minutes lieft in the first when he planted a volley into a corner of the net.  Shane Smith headed a pass to Deckman, who drove a header past Eagles goalkeeper Josh Meekins in the 70th minute.  Meekins collected 11 saves, and Pat Carey made four to lead North County.
