Why Fundraisers?
How does money get used?

During the spring the children fundraise and that assists in keeping the "enrollment fees" down along with discounting your child/children's fall fees and assists the League in paying the insurance.  Homecoming is the one and ONLY fundraiser that the league does for the league itself.  During Homecoming a donation of $25 participation fee per family to help cover Homecoming costs.  NYAA is NOT in any way assisted by our schools, the school district, the city or county with the funding it takes to run OUR program.  NYAA is a non-profit organization and rely SOLELY on the kind hearted donations from the community and not JUST the community out there, but OUR COMMUNITY here, the Northview Cougar community.  The League is dependent on and need the support from ALL to continue to do the amazing work that is done here.  Our homecoming fundraiser helps pay for new equipment, replace/maintain older equipment, buy uniforms, pay our utilities, and all field maintenance. Scholarships are available on a case by case basis to assist families who would otherwise not have a chance to be a part of such an amazing organization and teams with some pretty amazing young people.  When walking through the gate on a Saturday evening to watch our talented young boys and girls, it seems as though it all just "comes together", well, it only "comes together" because of the hard work and dedication of "OUR COMMUNITY" of awesome volunteers who put so much of their heart, time and energy into Cougar Nation each and every day.  This league was born when a group of parents came together for the children and we want it to be here for many more generations to come.  In order to do that, we need YOU!  Don't forget the donut sells go toward your Child's homecoming fund along with any Sponsor Banners sold as well.
