We're sponsoring a K-2 softball camp for everyone participating in our Squirts/U8
program -- as well as potential players who want to give
softball a try before committing.
Charnette "Charlie" Leikness will be running the camp. Many of you know her as
she has been leading the summer Squirts program for the past 4 years. She is super
excited about giving our players this opportunity. Some of our U12/U14 players will
be coming to help too.

Each session has space for up to 20 players and will include 30 minutes of instruction
following by 30 minutes of whiffle ball fun.

Registration is easy!

2. Pick a session that works for you.
3. Send in your registration as instructed.
4. Email Dana (oregonyouthsoftball@gmail.com) to ensure a spot is saved for you.
Important Notes:
1. Parents must be present during the camp. Softballs sometimes land on noses and
kids get nervous at this age. If you need to leave, be sure there is another adult there
to assist in supervising your player's safety. Things can get a bit crazy at this age.

2. Players need to bring gloves and bicycle helmets (to be used when batting and base
running). If you don't have one, let Dana know as we've got some extras.

3. The handout includes information about the summer program. Please pass it along
to other families both in and out of our district. Registration is open until April 15th.
