2016 Fall Ball for U8

Instructional Camp

Who:     2016-2017 Current Grade 1^st, 2^nd, 3^rd Grade

What:   Session I:  Defense and Offense Instruction by Yvette Healy, UW Badger Softball Coach

                Session II: Pitcher and Catcher instruction by Dana Leikness, OYS President/Past College Pitcher, and TBD for catchers.

Where:Session I: Kiser Field I by pool if nice; NKE big gym if bad weather

                Session II: Kiser Field I by pool if nice; NKE small gym if bad weather  

When:  Wednesdays, 5:30 – 6:15 pm

Session I:  September 14, 21, and 28

Session II:  October 5, 12, and 19

Why:     The instructional camps are a fund raiser to help support the “Friends of Oregon School District” charity that raises money to fight hunger in our schools as well as the Oregon Youth Softball program where funds are being raised to contribute towards the Varsity field development.

Cost:      Session I only:  $30

                Session II only:  $30

                Both Sessions:   $50

Back Yard Ball

There is also interest in some fall ball games.  We will put out an interest list for this and see where we are at.  This will be dependent upon numbers.  At this point I envision pickup games on either Saturday morning or Sunday afternoon.  (Majority determines.)  This would be no cost to players.
