Blazers Retire Marshall's #2
The Oriskany Blazers announced that Zach Marshall and Tyler Marhall will be honored in a cermony at the conclusion of the Blazers first home game. Zach an original Blazer, played for the Blazers from 2002 until 2008. In the 2007 MVL Championship game Marshall stole second base and scored the game winning run in extra innings. Marshall also Managed the Blazers in 2005 and finished with a record of 9-8. Zach's brother Tyler who also wore the #2 for a period of time, will also be honored in the ceremony. Tyler played for the Blazers from 2004 until 2007 and also briefly in 2003 during his time with Fort Schuyler. In 2006 and 2007 Tyler was co-manager of the Blazers and compiled a career coaching record of 31-6.
